Born from a drive through Utah
Growing up, Zach was one of those friends you just assumed would always be around. We were close the way only childhood friends can be. Then life happened — marriage, careers, different cities — and without either of us choosing it, we slowly drifted.
Driving through Utah, I'd pass through his area and feel it. That nudge. "Call Zach. Check in on him and his family." And every time, I'd let it pass. Days turned to months. Months turned to years.
That nudge never went away though. And I started wondering — what if something could hold onto that feeling for you? What if you didn't have to wait for life to slow down before you reached out to the people who matter?
That's Roots. It gives you the nudge. So you never have to wonder if you waited too long.
"Driving through Utah I'd feel that nudge — call Zach, check in on him and his family. Every time I let it pass. That feeling never left me. So I built something that wouldn't let it."
